Chili Chicken Short and Simple!!! Tasty? Ohh Yeahh....

 

Chili Chicken Easy and Fast Recipe!!!

 
 


Ingredients required

1. Chicken breast 500 grams/ 1 lb
2. Onions x 1 large
3. Green Pepper x 1 large
4. Eggs x 2
5. All purpose flour x 3-4 Tablespoon
6. Corn Meal/ Corn Flour x 4 Tablespoon
7.  Soya Sauce x 3-4 Tablespoon
8. Ginger garlic paste mix x 2-3 Tablespoon
9. Green Chili x 1 piece chopped/ paste x 1 Tablespoon
10. Salt to taste
11. Red chili powder as required for the level of hotness
12. Sriracha (Optional)/ Tomato Ketchup x 1 Tablespoon
13. Honey (Optional)
14. Sugar x Half Tablespoon
15. Oregano x 1 Tablespoon
16. Pepper x 2-3 Tablespoon or as required
17.  Coriander chopped/Lemon/Ring Onions (Optional)



Marinade

Take 2-3 tablespoon of all purpose floor, 4-5 Spoons of Corn Meal (Tastes Better) or Corn flour. Add 1 or 2 raw eggs, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, Soy sauce, Salt, oregano, Pepper, green chili, tomato sauce/sriracha (To add hotness), few drops of vinegar and mix everything together till it becomes a proper mixtures. This mixture should be consistent all throughout. Add a little amount of water if the constituents are still solid and not mixed.

Preparation

Add the chicken pieces and mix well. Leave the chicken pieces in the batter for 30 min to an Hour and then fry adding each piece one by one to a frying pan. Use either olive oil or Canola oil. Remove the fried pieces once golden or 80-90% cooked. After frying all pieces use another pan to prepare the base of chili chicken.
 
Heat the pan and add two teaspoon oil. Add chopped onions and fry or sauté till they are golden. Now add Green pepper (capsicum) and one tablespoon ginger garlic paste mix. Fry till the green pepper becomes shiny and soft. Add soya sauce, salt to taste, half tablespoon sugar, half tablespoon chili powder, one spoon pepper, and 1 table spoon vinegar and sauté. Now add the fried chicken pieces and let them sauté for another 10 minutes. Now add a little amount of water to the left over marinade and add to the pan. and sauté again for 5 minutes.
 
The constituents will now start to stick to each other at this step you can add honey and sesame for sweat tangy flavor.
 
Serve hot and garnish with freshly chopped coriander/Cilantro, ring onions, and quarter lemon.
